As a Security Professional - Financial Site Patrol in Asheville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a prominent financial institution setting, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service through professional and courteous interactions. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity in and around the financial institution.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as appropriate while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate written reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
