Position: Senior Director of Human Resources

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000

Employment Type: Full-Time, on-site

Reports To: Executive Director

Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Human Resources is a visionary leader responsible for designing and executing progressive HR strategies that fuel innovation, nurture a dynamic culture, and drive organizational performance. We're looking for a creative problem-solver and strategic thinker who challenges the status quo and redefines what's possible in HR.

This is not your traditional HR role - it's about pushing boundaries, leading with empathy, and building a workplace where people are empowered to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the HR Director Level team in areas of talent acquisition, training, benefits and employee relations.
  • Mentor Directors of recruiting, employee relations, training and benefits to attract, retain, and grow top-tier talent.

Candidate Experience Requirement:

Qualified candidates will be offered a Zoom interview to present the following as part of the interview process:

  1. Three Experiences in each Human Resources area:
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Training & Development
  • Benefits Administration
  • Employee Relations
  • Candidates must describe three notable employee relations issues they directly managed, where their leadership and decision-making: Reduced agency or organizational risk
  • Presentations should highlight the context, approach, outcome, and lessons learned for each case.

These examples will help assess strategic thinking, sound judgment, risk mitigation, and leadership in complex HR situations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's or HR certification preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including managing HR teams and organizational change.
