Position Summary

We're looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Revenue Manager to lead our pricing, forecasting, and channel strategy across a diverse portfolio of RV parks, vacation rentals, and park models. What You'll Own
  • Revenue Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies for all RV Parks to maximize ADR and revenue growth.
  • Pricing Optimization: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand factors to adjust pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
  • Distribution Management: Manage rates, inventory, and content on third-party channels (Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com), ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Direct Booking Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and incentives that encourage direct bookings through our website and other direct channels.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop accurate revenue forecasts and annual budgets to guide revenue management decisions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular STAR & Pace reports and analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Channel Performance Analysis: Evaluate the performance of different booking channels, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize distribution partnerships.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor pricing strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with third-party distribution partners.
Qualifications
  • Revenue Optimization Strategy: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive revenue optimization strategies that maximize revenue across all revenue streams, including room rates, ancillary services, and packages.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Proficiency in conducting market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and demand forecasting to identify revenue opportunities and inform pricing decisions.
  • Revenue Management Systems: Experience with revenue management systems (RMS) and technology tools to analyze data, set pricing strategies, and automate revenue management processes.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to optimize revenue performance.
  • Price Optimization and Pricing Strategies: Expertise in developing and implementing dynamic pricing strategies, including price elasticity modeling, segmentation analysis, and inventory management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align revenue management strategies with overall business objectives and initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Proficient in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), such as revenue per available room (RevPAR), average daily rate (ADR), and occupancy, and providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Revenue Forecasting Accuracy: Track record of achieving revenue forecasting accuracy and effectively managing revenue projections to meet financial targets.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in revenue management practices, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in revenue management or pricing strategy within the hospitality industry, preferably with RV Parks or campgrounds.
  • Proficiency in revenue management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Knowledge of various booking platforms and channel management systems.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on revenue growth.
