Position Summary: 

Briggs Automotive is seeking a driven and customer-oriented Outside Sales-Parts Representative to join our team in Topeka, KS. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in automotive parts, particularly in OEM parts sales for Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Subaru, and Kia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, skilled in territory development, and capable of building long-term relationships with clients in the automotive service and repair industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale customers, while proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities throughout the territory. 

• Promote and sell OEM parts for Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Subaru, and Kia to independent repair shops, body shops, fleets, and dealerships. 

• Conduct regular in-person visits to client locations to provide product knowledge, resolve concerns, and strengthen business relationships. 

• Deliver accurate quotes, process orders, and follow through on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. 

• Stay current on product lines, manufacturer programs, and promotions across all OEM brands offered by Briggs Automotive. 

• Collaborate with internal departments including parts counter staff, shipping, and OEM representatives to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. 

• Utilize CRM systems to manage customer contacts, track sales activity, and report progress to management. 

• Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance metrics. 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on OEM or aftermarket parts. 

• Direct experience with Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Subaru, and Kia parts is strongly preferred. 

• Knowledge of automotive repair processes and familiarity with electronic parts catalogs and inventory systems. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities. 

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a field-based role. 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or manufacturer training a plus. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM software. 

• Understand and operate industry specific software, i.e. CCC, Parts Trader, etc...
