Station/Company: KPTV/KPDX-TV Location: Portland Hours: Full Time Overview KPTV is a Fox-affiliated television station licensed in Portland, Oregon. Owned by Gray Television, it is part of a duopoly with KPDX. We are seeking a proactive Sales professional to drive growth in digital-first and broadcast marketing solutions. Job Description Position/Title: MEDIA EXECUTIVE – KPTV Details: Gray Media is a multimedia company with a broad portfolio of local TV stations, digital media assets, and production facilities. The role focuses on cultivating new business relationships, exceeding revenue targets, and delivering innovative marketing solutions tailored to client needs. Applicants should be ready to join a dynamic sales team and contribute to digital advertising success. Responsibilities Identify and engage with prospective clients to offer multimedia advertising solutions. Consistently achieve and surpass revenue goals through strategic sales approaches. Thrive in a fast-paced environment by meeting tight deadlines and delivering exceptional results. Provide sales and service support to both new and existing advertisers. Collaborate with internal teams (production and traffic) to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. Utilize software tools (WideOrbit, Matrix, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) to streamline sales processes and enhance client interactions. Position could be hybrid – initially in-office full-time training; review after six months. Other duties as assigned by Sales Managers. Qualifications/Requirements College graduate. 2-3 years of proven experience in media sales, with a preference for digital sales. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively. Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver polished presentations. Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Highly competitive with drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment. Valid Driver’s License and clearance of Motor Vehicle Report required.
