Human Resources Manager Build, Lead, and Modernize HR at a Growing Family Business

Were looking for a Human Resources Manager who is as comfortable in the boardroom as they are walking the floorsomeone who blends people-first leadership with tech-savvy execution and strong financial acumen.

What youll own and drive

  • Strategic HR leadership : Partner directly with the Director of Finance and our leadership team to align people strategy with business goals. Youll shape policies, culture, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Autonomy over HR budget and benefits : Youll manage the HR budget, model scenarios, and make data-driven benefits decisions. Your math, analysis, and business judgment will directly impact employee experience and company performance.
  • Payroll end-to-end : Lead accurate, compliant bi-weekly payroll and related reporting, and serve as the go-to for payroll questions.
  • Talent and engagement : Run full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, elevate our employer brand, and design development programs that grow skills and careers.
  • Change leadership : Present, train, coach, and move initiatives from concept to execution. Youll streamline processes, champion continuous improvement, and help us scale smart.
  • Safety and compliance : Oversee OSHA-related programs, manage the Safety Committee, and ensure our operations reflect best practices.
  • Data and technology : Leverage HRIS (UKG Ready experience is a plus) and workforce analytics to track trends, inform decisions, and drive action.

What makes you a great fit

  • 57+ years in HR with broad generalist experience and confidence owning payroll and benefits.
  • Tech-oriented and data-driven, with the ability to analyze workforce metrics and present insights that move leaders to action.
  • Financially and mathematicallyinclinedcomfortable modeling budgets, reconciling invoices, and evaluating plan designs.
  • Strong communicator and facilitatorskilled in presenting, training, coaching, and navigating change.
  • Bias for action, high accountability, and a collaborative mindset that earns trust across the organization.
  • Bonus: Experience with UKG Ready, SHRM-CP/PHR, Lean/CI, OSHA/safety programs.

Location: Onsite in Plymouth, MN ***Hybrid options available once you're acclimated.
