Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with hands-on experience in operating various CNC machines. This role involves creating precise programs for CNC milling machines, lathes, and other equipment to ensure high-quality production standards. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
\n - Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes, including milling, turning, and fabrication.
\n - Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tooling requirements.
\n - Utilize CAD software (such as SolidWorks) for designing parts and assemblies.
\n - Operate CNC machinery, including CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
\n - Perform setup and adjustments on machines to maintain optimal performance.
\n - Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure part accuracy.
\n - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
\n - Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
\n - Assist in training new team members on CNC operations and programming techniques.
\n - Other duties as assigned.

Skills:
\n - Proficient in CNC programming with experience in Fanuc controls.
\n - Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) is a plus.
\n - Familiarity with various manufacturing processes including machining, assembly line operations, and fabrication.
\n - Experience operating hand tools, forklifts, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses.
\n - Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
\n - Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation effectively.
\n - Mechanical knowledge with a focus on quality control measures in a manufacturing facility.
\n - Experience with CAM programming software is advantageous.
\n - Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes.

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procedure, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used in the work performed by his/her assigned shop.
Compensation Employee Type: Hourly
Salary Minimum: $45,000
Salary Maximum: $50,000
